Instructions for Authors
Details of the proposal
Extended abstracts (up to 300 words plus references) for a 20-minute presentation (plus 5 minutes for questions) must be submitted by 10 May 2026 by email to nfm.conference@universidadeeuropeia.pt
Authors must describe the research method used and highlight the link to the conference’s theme(s).
Extended abstracts must include the author’s affiliation and email address. Authors of abstracts approved by the conference’s scientific committee will be notified by 29 May 2026.
For the review process, and in addition to the formal proposal, an anonymised version with the same title must be submitted at the same time.
Submission & formatting
• Platform + Email.
• Accepted languages: Portuguese / English.
• Template: Word; formatting: A4, 11 pt font, standard margins; APA style.
• Originality: unpublished works, not under review in other forums.
Review process & criteria

Peer review (double-blind); names/affiliations will be removed from the manuscript; anonymous metadata.

Criteria: originality, methodological rigour, relevance, clarity, robustness under uncertainty, practical/theoretical contribution.
Publication

The conference organisers plan to publish the abstracts in electronic format. An ISBN will be assigned to the publication. The document will be made available as open access.

Full papers (8 to 10 pages) are optional and will be published by an international publisher as book chapter.
No-show policy

For the paper to be included in the proceedings, at least one registered author must be present in person.
